My client is one of the UK's leading insurance distribution businesses. Through three distinct yet complementary divisions - a retail broking franchise, a wholesale broking team and in-house MGAs, they provide tailored insurance solutions to a wide range of customers, either directly or via independent Brokers.
They are seeking a Placement I Analyst to join the recently established group placement team. This is an exciting new role and a unique opportunity to help shape and drive its future as a data-led function.
The Placement Analyst would be responsible for gathering and interpreting customer-Broker-Insurer data to manage the group's placement strategy and Insurer relationships.
Used by internal and external stakeholders, this insight will then be used to drive placement efficiency's and maximise opportunities for better customer outcomes.
Required skills / experience / qualifications:
- A strong analytical mindset, with a capability to design data-driven insight, reporting and Management Information (MI)
- A sound understanding of the UK's insurance landscape; and an ability to use that knowledge to map customer and product data to insurer appetites
- Ideally, an ambitious, entrepreneurial desire to help shape and build a new data-led function; who is comfortable working as part of a small team
