Job description
We're working with a well-established insurance broker based in Birmingham, who are looking to appoint an Insurer Relationship & Partnership Manager to strengthen and develop their insurer relationships.
This role is pivotal to the business - focused on building strategic partnerships with insurers, improving trading terms, and supporting the broking teams to drive profitable growth.
The Role
Managing and developing key insurer relationships across the commercial market
Acting as the main point of contact between insurers and internal broking teams
Negotiating and reviewing trading terms, schemes and delegated authority opportunities
Supporting Account Executives and New Business teams with insurer engagement and placement strategy
Identifying new insurer partners and opportunities aligned to the broker's growth plans
Monitoring performance, appetite and market changes to maximise placement success
What We're Looking For
Strong experience within commercial insurance, either broker-side or insurer-side
Proven ability to build and maintain senior insurer relationships
Good understanding of underwriting appetite, market dynamics and placement strategy
Confident communicator able to influence internally and externally
