Planning Lawyer (0-10 PQE) - National Law Firm (London)
Job description
National law firm with a strong presence in London is seeking a Planning Lawyer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have between 0-10 years PQE and a passion for planning law.
Responsibilities:
Advising clients on all aspects of planning law, including development plan applications, appeals, enforcement action, and judicial review
Drafting planning applications, appeals, and other planning documents
Negotiating with planning authorities and other stakeholders
Undertaking legal research and providing written and oral advice to clients
Representing clients at hearings and inquiries
Keeping up-to-date with changes in planning law and practice
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and colleagues
Skills and experience:
A strong academic background in law
A minimum of 0-10 years PQE in planning law
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to meet deadlines and manage a heavy workload
A keen interest in planning law
