Planning Lawyer (0-10 PQE) - National Law Firm (London)

Job description

National law firm with a strong presence in London is seeking a Planning Lawyer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have between 0-10 years PQE and a passion for planning law.

Responsibilities:

  • Advising clients on all aspects of planning law, including development plan applications, appeals, enforcement action, and judicial review

  • Drafting planning applications, appeals, and other planning documents

  • Negotiating with planning authorities and other stakeholders

  • Undertaking legal research and providing written and oral advice to clients

  • Representing clients at hearings and inquiries

  • Keeping up-to-date with changes in planning law and practice

  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and colleagues

Skills and experience:

  • A strong academic background in law

  • A minimum of 0-10 years PQE in planning law

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage a heavy workload

  • A keen interest in planning law
