This regional firm seek to recruit a Senior Associate to join their Property Litigation team in Nottingham.

Role

The firm is currently seeking an experienced Senior Property Litigation Lawyer with a minimum of 5 years PQE to join their vibrant Dispute Resolution team, emphasising a substantial focus on business development.

In this role, the candidate will play a crucial part in the business development of the property litigation practice. Collaborating closely with the Property team, the individual will cultivate strong relationships, secure work from existing clients and contacts, and actively pursue new opportunities. Possessing pre-existing work-winning relationships with professionals such as accountants and surveyors will be advantageous.

Legal Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of various property litigation issues.
  • Experience in restrictive covenant disputes, adverse possession, dilapidations, access and boundary disputes, and commercial landlord and tenant work (with knowledge of the
  • Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 being desirable).
  • Business Development
  • The firm seeks a professional to develop and execute a plan to build a successful property litigation practice.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to win new work.
  • Maintain and enhance the team's connections across the firm.
  • Proactively seek and develop new business opportunities through various marketing and business development activities, including LinkedIn.
  • Client Relationships
  • The firm seeks an individual with strong client relationship skills, capable of exceeding client expectations.
  • Proactive approach to providing clients with solutions.
  • Skills, Experience, and Competencies
  • Ideally at least 5 years PQE experience in Property Litigation.
  • Strong financial and commercial awareness, ensuring a profitable contribution to the team.
  • Ability to provide advice to clients in plain English.
  • Strong academic qualifications.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and manage tasks.
  • Keen attention to detail while maintaining efficient progress.
  • Ability and enthusiasm to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Capability to prioritise and manage numerous tasks.
