In this newly released position, you'll play a key leading role within the new business function of one of Glasgow's premier Insurers.

With major transformational change happening in this business, you'll be joining at a time where processes are being improved, analytical advancements are being implemented and upgrades to all areas of systems and IT are being rolled out.

All to make your life here as smooth and enjoyable as possible.

Your senior remit here will see you leading projects, acting as champion for specialist areas and handling more complex business referred through the main team of Underwriters.

The day to day will see you work across a healthy, established Broker panel including both national and regional players which you'll enjoy plenty of face-to-face time with.

Underwriting new property and casualty risks, you'll be handling cases well into the six figures with a minimum risk around the £20k bracket.

Operating a hybrid working model, you'll balance home working with collaboration days in the flagship Glasgow office giving you the best of both worlds.

Salary is up to £55,000 plus bonus and excellent benefits package.

Ideally, you'll be an experienced commercial underwriter who is a trader at heart. One who can build excellent Broker relationships with the gravitas to write profitable P&C business.
