A major global insurer has an opening for an experienced Package Underwriter to join its Birmingham team (hybrid model)

The role will entail assessing the desirability of risks through analysis of financial reports and accounts, regular contact with Brokers, thorough review of proposals and reviewing of claims history and general company information.

As senior member of the team, the Senior Underwriter will take ownership for key outcomes and take responsibility for a higher portion of the new business target than the Underwriters.

It is essential that prospective candidates have proven underwriting/broking experience in commercial package business.
