A major global Insurer is seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Underwriter as they expand into the UK SME market. Lines of business will include shops & salons, leisure and catering, manufacturing & wholesale, property owners, offices, surgeries and commercial combined.

You will have strong Property and Casualty expertise and be able to develop and grow key broker relationships and who can contribute towards product design, underwriting appetite.

You will be responsible for handling larger and more complex case, acting as an internal referral point for technical referrals from the team. Support the development of new products and/or product enhancements to drive profitable growth.

Ideally you will have proven underwriting experience in a commercial SME environment underwriting Property & Casualty lines of business.

This is a hybrid role with mix of office and home working.
