You don't mind the more obscure marine risk which other Insurers seem to decline, your experience within Marine is global and you would like to align yourself with a business that will offer you a pathway to leadership

We are excited to present to the market a Senior Marine Underwriting opportunity in London (Salary £70,000 - £120,000 depending upon experience) whereby you will work with Brokers globally, underwriting risks in the Lloyd's market.

Joining a global underwriting team, some 42 Underwriters, you will be rewarded on personal and overall profitability - It is worth highlighting this Lloyds Insurance business have seen considerate growth and profit over the past 2 years

With other Syndicates/Lloyd's Insurers backing out of the US market, this firm are capatilising on this using their unique client proposition

You'll be a market facing, Senior Underwriter or Broker within the Marine Liability space and would like to represent one of the leading marine insurance brands in the UK and Europe. Unfortunately we are not able to consider individuals outside the Marine Liability underwriting/broking market

On offer is a salary up to £120,000 per year + lucrative bonus + flexible working - having moved into some new amazing, kitted out offices you'll enjoy the mix of office/home working arrangement.

The opportunity will likely progress into a leadership role in the future, due to forecasted succession planning and growth of the division. You'll also work closely with the Marine Director to strategise the division's growth plans, whilst supporting junior Marine Liability Underwriters on the team.
