An ambitious, fast-growing underwriting business is in the middle of a major transformation - with big goals, serious backing, and a clear path to becoming a Lloyd's syndicate. We've just rebranded, relocated to the iconic Gherkin in London, and launched a brand-new MGA targeting the London and international markets. The next three years? We're aiming to grow our account to £15 million - and we want you to be part of that journey.
Why this role stands out
Forget being a small cog in a corporate machine. Here, you'll make a tangible impact from day one. We've built a solid foundation in PI for accountants and surveyors, but we're hungry to grow - especially into construction risks like architects, engineers, and design & construct. Got experience in that space? You'll have the freedom (and the firepower) to build it out and make it yours.
What you'll be walking into
We're a lean, sharp underwriting team now - but we're scaling fast. Over the next 12-18 months, we're bringing in several new underwriters to hit our growth targets. You'll be at the heart of this expansion, working closely with senior leadership in a fast-paced, energetic environment where your ideas matter and your wins are visible.
What we're looking for
A PI Underwriter ready to take the next step - mid level working towards senior.
A strong new business mindset - you're hungry, focused, and love to build.
Solid PI underwriting experience - especially in accountants and surveyors.
Construction PI experience (D&C, architects, engineers)? Huge plus.
A self-starter who thrives in a dynamic, growing team.
