Here you'll be joining a friendly team of Account Handlers and Executives in an established branch in the Centre of Glasgow who manage broking services for a wide range of commercial clientele.

Handling new business, insurer negotiations, MTAs and renewals you will be responsible for the placing of risk. The beauty with this broker is they work on the open market. They have no ties or placement panel, meaning the market really is your oyster here and you will be able to fully express your broking ability.

The firm are also going through a rebranding and putting a fresh touch to their website giving them the modern look and feel they need in the current climate.

Showing a proactive attitude and displaying excellent communication skills, your remit here will be geared around providing a great broking service to the client base.

Ideally, you will have some experience of dealing with the commercial market in some capacity, either broking or underwriting.

The future here for you will be very bright should progression be high on your agenda mainly due to the newly rolled out 'soft mentor scheme'. Should you wish to partake, you would be paired up with a member of staff from another branch with a skillset that matches yours, meaning you would be able to learn, develop and in turn really become exactly what you want to be!
