Job Description:
As a Life Science Insurance Consultant you will be at the forefront of addressing the distinctive challenges presented by the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical device, and healthcare services fields.
Your expertise will contribute to the development and implementation of comprehensive insurance solutions, ensuring our clients are well-protected against a range of risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building and maintaining business relationships with clients.
- Scheduling and attending meetings.
- Helping clients articulate their current and future insurance needs.
- Researching insurance policies and products.
- Negotiating policy terms and costs with insurance providers.
- Explaining policy terms to clients.
- Arranging insurance cover for clients with the insurance provider.
- Keeping detailed computer records.
- Preparing reports for insurance underwriters.
- Advising clients on making claims on their policies.
- Responding to verbal and written client queries.
- Setting up new business accounts.
- Renewing or amending existing policies for clients.
- Process and handle complex business.
- Analyse and collate performance management information.
- Supporting the manager in running and developing the team.
