Broker Claims Handler

Job description

Here you'll be joining an established claims handling unit within one of Scotland's best known commercial brokerages.

The team all work on a hybrid basis, requiring just two days in the office per week meaning you'll have three days working from home every week.

It's a great balance of collaboration with key broking colleagues and the peace and quiet of days from home where you can motor through your caseload.

You'll be working with a commercial client portfolio which includes a huge array of clientele including distribution, manufacturing, tech, professional services, charities, engineering firms and property owners.

Day to day you'll be managing full end to end claims across commercial motor, property, liability, and specialist cases such as indemnity, D&O and cyber.

Up and above the claims handling, you'll also play a key role in supporting the Account Directors with claims reporting which will see you attend client meetings right across the UK.

If you are in commercial claims for an insurer or adjuster and fancy a switch into broking, this will be ideal as you'll be working alongside a team of five handlers, all experienced professionals who'll make the transfer as easy as possible.

And if you are already in broker claims but feel a bit stifled in your role just now, then here you'll have scope to take on some of the more senior responsibilities such as key client management and team leader duties.

Ideally you'll be based in either Perth or Glasgow for this one and able to attend the office twice a week.

The salary is up to £38,000 depending on your experience with benefits on top.

The recruitment process is very straightforward also requiring an initial informal chat with IDEX followed by a simple two-stage interview process.

And don't worry if your CV isn't up to date, we can sort that here at IDEX.
