Claims Manager

Job description

An established and growing insurance broker is seeking an experienced Claims Manager to join the business in a newly made role. This is a senior, technically focused role designed to take ownership of complex claims and significantly reduce the technical claims workload currently managed by the broking team.

The successful candidate will manage high-value and complex financial lines claims, working closely with sophisticated, international clients, including those with exposure to US courts and global jurisdictions. The role is client-facing and requires someone confident engaging directly with clients and prospects across sectors such as fintech, medtech, and technology.

As part of the company's strategic development, the Claims Manager will play a key role in shaping the future claims handling strategy. Over time, there is a clear opportunity to build and lead a claims team as the function develops.
The company is open to candidates from broking, insurer, or legal backgrounds, provided they bring strong technical claims experience, particularly within financial lines. The role offers a hybrid working pattern with two days per week in the office and a salary of £55,000-£65,000, depending on experience.
