Client Service Manager

This unique position within the Scottish insurance market will see you combine the best of both worlds across both broking and underwriting.

As a Client Service Manager, you'll underwrite specialist insurance business via an established scheme whilst playing a hands-on role managing the day-to-day insurance requirements of key clients.

So, you'll be the key link between the key clientele and the specialist scheme where their insurance requirements are underwritten.

This insurance broking group are one of the main UK players within their niche specialism and run a substantial book of business across the Scottish region.

Their centrally located offices are the main hub in Scotland and here they have a team of insurance experts developing and retaining this client portfolio.

Day to day you'll…

  • Review and Underwrite within the Delegated authority on an exclusive scheme
  • Where required re-broke clients requirements to the open market
  • Deal with incoming enquiries from clients, agents and account execs- ensuring all transactions are conducted compliantly and with full transparency
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurers and clients
  • Assist in the creation of comprehensive client and broking documents
  • Assist in planning the most appropriate insurance programme for the client's demands and needs
  • Ensure that self and team comply with all applicable Company and/or Group policies and procedures
  • Ensure correct authorisation is obtained and processes followed when required by applicable Company and /or Group policies and procedures

You'll need to have experience in either Underwriting or insurance broking for this one and an interest in the rural industry would be helpful too.

Ideally, you'll be able to work in the Perthshire offices three days per week.

Salary is up to £38,000 plus extensive benefits.
