Commercial Account Handler

There is a lot to be said for working in a local insurance brokerage.

A friendly team. Clients popping in for cups of tea and a catch up. A natural commitment and connection to the local business community.

That's the environment you'll be joining here in this Northumberland based brokerage.

They provide insurance services to all sorts of clientele across the local market. And that's from small SMEs right up to larger, corporate level firms.

You'll be joining a team of seven. All experienced and skilled insurance professionals where day to day they enjoy nothing more than brainstorming how to manage an unusual client or working together on a new piece of business.

You'll be replacing one of their experienced Account Handlers who is retiring.

Big shoes to fill but don't worry about that as you'll get brilliant mentoring from him at the start of your journey here plus receive excellent ongoing training and support from the hands-on management team.

Day to day you'll be placing, renewing, and servicing commercial insurance risks via the Acturis system whilst playing a crucial support role to the client facing team.

You'll love it here if you are the type of person who values that local, community focussed touch and enjoys being part of a smaller team.

Salary here is up to £32,000 plus benefits and hybrid working is available.

Ideally, you'll be based close to the A69 as you'll need to be in the office during training and a few times a week once up and running.

Oh, and you'll need some commercial insurance experience, either from the broking or underwriting sides.
