A successful broking career means different things to different people, some like working for Global brokers others prefer a broker who has UK wide presence but not as much tape as a Global broker.

Working as part of this close knit broking team, you'll play a key role in supporting the day to day technical work of the firm.
The key part of the remit will be to provide a smooth and robust broking service which will allow the directors and executives to focus on their plan to drive the new business in the firm.
You'll be handling renewals, MTAs and marketing the new business across the key insurer panel.
You'll need a flair for negotiations to place the risks combined with a natural ability to build your own relationships with the client portfolio which you'll have regular contact with.
The clients are varied across a range of industries, so you'll be handling everything from property owners, retail, haulage/distribution, leisure and construction-based risks.

This is a hybrid role with an expectation of a couple of time in times in the office per week.
You will already have a background within the commercial insurance market, from either a broking or insurer environment.
A skilled account handler, you'll understand the importance of delivering excellent client service and have the ability to provide a smooth handling service to the executive team.
Ideally, you'll have good knowledge of commercial insurance products across liability, property and motor risks.
