Corporate Account Handler - Hertfordshire

As part of new headcount for 2022, a well-established insurance Broker seeks an experienced Account Handler to join their Hertfordshire team. Hybrid working is on offer as a perk of the job, along with investment in professional development including CII studies.

The Account Handler will assist the Account Executives with account handling and broking for both new and existing commercial business. The team deal with a range of commercial insurance risks including Commercial Combined, Property Owners, Motor Fleet, Cyber, D&O, EL/PL, Sport, Media and Accident and Health. Assistance with Lloyd's placements may also form part of the role.

Candidates should be adept in report writing, broking presentations and cross-selling and have knowledge of most commercial classes of insurance. The premiums are mostly above £10k, so experience with mid-market/ corporate risks would be beneficial. Applicants should also be confident in forming relationships with Underwriters and clients alike.
