Job description

We have been retained by a specialist Employment practice looking to open a brand new office in Bristol, and seeking an Employment Solicitor to build this around. This is a key hire, and perfect for an entrepreneurial and ambitious employment solicitor in the South West.

This practice, is not only Legal 500 and Chambers recognised for employment matters, but also able to count LLP's, national and multi-national employers and individuals as their clients.

Across a variety of sectors, you will work on the full remit of HR advisory, transactional support and High Court litigation. But in particular, this practice is recognised for capabilities in internal investigations, business restructuring, board-level disputes and experience working with start-ups.
Current Partners and lawyers in the team, have joined from recognised practices such as Slaughter & May, DLA, Lewis Silkin and Mayer Brown - to name a few!


You will:

  • Be a Partner or Senior Employment Solicitor with experience across both advisory and litigation matters
  • Have a proven track record when it comes to client work - ideally bringing a following of clients, or being well connected in the Bristol/SW
  • Be keen to get into the market to network for the firm, and build the firms profile in the SW
  • Be ambitious, and driven


On offer is a bespoke package which is based around business case, but also share/equity opportunities at the firm.
