Idex consulting are working with a dynamic financial planning firm within Edinburgh city centre. We are looking for a financial planner who will be allocated your own clients from the existing client bank.

You will strive to deliver exceptional client service.

A full support team will be provided to ensure client appointments, meeting preparation and potential business submissions are handled with the assistance of the Adviser.
There will be the opportunity to bring in new business and be rewarded for this, although this is not the main focus of your role.

Reviewing existing clients to ensure their financial planning objectives continue to be met
Reviewing clients' attitude to risk in accordance with their financial planning decisions
Reviewing and responding to clients' changing needs and financial circumstances
Providing clients with information on new and existing products and services
Communicating with other relevant professionals in relation to clients' circumstances
Keeping up-to-date with legal, taxation and regulatory legislation as appropriate and
maintaining professional and technical knowledge of St. James's Place products and
services
Liaising with clients in relation to changes to legislation that may affect their savings,
investments and/or plans Meeting the regulatory aspects of the role
Participating in monthly marketing meetings and strategies for business development.
