About the Team
A highly regarded Real Estate practice with national reach is looking to expand its Manchester office. The team advises on a broad range of commercial real estate matters including development, investment, fund management, and property finance, acting for a client base of landlords, tenants, developers, and investors. They also have strong expertise in sector-focused projects across retail, leisure, local authority, and higher education.
About the Role
Due to continued growth and client demand, the team is seeking an NQ lawyer (newly qualified, up to 3 years' PQE) to join its busy and collaborative Manchester office. This role will provide exposure to a wide variety of real estate matters and would suit someone with experience gained from a well-regarded regional or City firm. The successful candidate will be expected to manage a busy caseload, deliver excellent client service, and support colleagues across different workstreams.
Key Responsibilities
- Running and assisting with a broad caseload of real estate transactions
- Providing high-quality legal and commercial advice to clients
- Managing files effectively, including time recording, WIP, and billing
- Contributing to business development initiatives and building client relationships
- Keeping up to date with legal and commercial developments
- Taking responsibility for personal development and progression within the team
About You
- Newly qualified (NQ) or up to 3 years' PQE, with experience in real estate transactions
- Strong technical skills and commercial awareness
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
- A proactive, self-starter who enjoys working as part of a collaborative team
- Good IT skills and experience with case management systems
