More about the role….

  • This newly created position will offer you the perfect balance of utilising your technical skills whilst giving you the platform to build key relationships across the insurer markets.
  • As the driver of placement strategy within the business, you will play an integral role with a remit covering;
  • Managing and strengthening insurer relationships
  • Negotiating placement of insurance on both an individual policies and books of business
  • Supporting the leadership team by developing technical strategy for all commercial product lines
  • Negotiating book consolidation/transfers, where the opportunity presents itself
  • Working closely with key underwriters and BDMs to learn well in advance of renewal any potential challenges or issues we may incur with upcoming renewals
  • Providing solutions to placement of risks where insurers are seeking excessive rate increases or are no longer able to provide terms
