Calling all Commercial Lawyers!

A leading insurance company in the marine and energy industries is seeking an interim Commercial Counsel to join the business for a minimum 12 month FTC.

The business operates a hybrid working model, 2 days in the office and 3 from home, and the position is available in London or Newcastle.

The Role

The Interim Commercial Counsel will be responsible for:

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a range of commercial contracts, touching on marketing, procurement, IT and data privacy
• Assisting with a major project to design and implement effective contract management
• Working closely with the Legal Team to complete the on-boarding of merged entities

The Person

The position would suit a qualified lawyer with previous in-house experience. Any previous FS/insurance experience would be beneficial, but the key element is sound experience in commercial contracts/transactions.
